The Bay Street Bastards Pub Crawl is a unique and thrilling way to explore Charleston’s dark history while visiting some of its favorite bars and pubs.
Charleston is known as the “Holy City,” but it also has a darker side. From gruesome murders to notorious criminals, there are plenty of true-crime stories to discover here.
You’ll visit some of Charleston’s famous watering holes while your guide shares stories of true crime from the city’s past — including Lavinia Fisher, often called the first female serial killer in the United States, and John and Lottie Black, known as the “King and Queen of Charleston’s Red Light District.”
The crawl includes several stops, each with its own atmosphere and selection of drinks. You’ll have the chance to try craft beers, cocktails and wines while mingling with fellow true-crime enthusiasts.
